I have taught at Dickinson since 1991. My undergraduate work was at California State University, Fresno, and my graduate work was at the University of Washington. My dissertation looked at the way that modernist writers romanticized the Renaissance.

I currently have a book forthcoming from Ohio State University Press: The Economics of Fantasy: Rape in 20th Century Literature.
