Mark Ruhl is Glenn and Mary Todd Professor of Political Science at Dickinson College. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D at the Maxwell School of Public Affairs and Citizenship at Syracuse University. His research focuses on problems of democratization in Latin America with a special emphasis on civil-military relations. He has a particular interest in the Central American countries where he does most of his field research. His teaching interests range broadly in comparative politics from less developed regions such as Latin America and Africa to developed countries like the United States. |
