Stars and Planets
Use this applet to see the relative sizes of the planets (and Earth's moon), the stars (including our sun), and the planetary orbits. The units on the axes are kilometers. The largest of these is Neptune's orbit and the smallest is the moon. Zoom in or out by using the magnifying glasses. For best results, click on the origin of the coordinate system. The recycling symbol resets the view to the starting configuration.
