The Persistence of Racism

Despite some impressive efforts to end racism (especially anti-Black racism) in America, it persists. I want to understand why.

In the fall of 2015, I started reading from the old syllabus for the doctoral program of the W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, which appears in Robert Paul Wolff's illuminating Autobiography of an Ex-White Man.
