Trail condition: Overgrown on the west end; relatively clear on the east end, which borders the Big Spring School District complex (north).
Crossing at Centerville Rd. (Rt. 233): Trail is below road grade here. Centerville Rd. is extremely busy and may be too dangerous for a trail crossing. A tunnel under Centerville Rd. might be considered. See South Middleton’s Belt Trail tunnel under Park Drive as an example of what might be possible.
Crossing at Mt. Rock Rd.: The trail is at road grade here. The close proximity of the Big Spring School District complex probably means that Mt. Rock Rd. is fairly busy in the mornings and afternoons when school is in session, as well as during special events at the school.
