Vor

Vor was the goddess of self-discipline and faith. Her foresight was similar to that of a seeress, for she knew all that would occur in the world. She possessed great wisdom and was a truth seeker. Nothing could be kept secret from her because she had the ability to obtain all information.

Vor is said to grant women awareness of things and events to come.

According to the Poetic Edda in The Lay of Thrym, the word Vor is said to mean vow or pledge. Vor can then be interpreted as a goddess of marriage.
