Learning HTML
Learning HTML

In Conclusion...

Well, that's about it. This tutorial has tried to provide you with an introduction to HTML by explaining concepts and demonstrating techniques in creating documents. You should be able to build on these skills and create your own Web site of useful information. Or, you can create the "Beavis and Butthead Page." What you do is up to you.

The web continues to evolve, and HTML may not survive. Up to now, however, each new release of the major browsers has supported all the basic HTML commands. The future is sure to include more use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control the appearance of web pages, but an understanding of HTML will continue to be useful.

There are many more advanced features of HTML which we haven't even touched upon, such as forms, tables, and image maps. Perhaps there will be an advanced tutorial in the not-so-distant future.

If you found this guide useful, or you have any suggestions for improvement, please share your comments by email to pfd@cvns.net. It will just take a minute!
