Learning HTML
Chapter 2 - Creating Your First HTML Document

This section will walk you through the steps to create a simple HTML document. For this exercise, we will use Notepad, a simple text editor that comes with Microsoft Windows. You can use any text editor or any word processing program to create an HTML document; however, the program you use must be able to save the document in plain text (or ASCII) format. If you use WordPerfect or another word processor, make sure you use the "Save As" feature and specify ASCII format for your file.
