Project Architecture / Annotated Bibliography

  1. For implementation projects, write a concise but complete description of your project architecture. For research projects, generate an annotated bibliography of at least 5 research papers related to your project. You will be graded on consistency with the guidelines given below, completeness, clarity, grammar, spelling and punctuation.

  2. Give a 10 - 15 minute presentation. You should very briefly remind everyone what your project is and then cover each of the informational points listed above. For implementation projects you will give an overview of your architecture and its elements and demonstrate the minimal functionality that you implemented. If you are not using JUnit for testing you might also demonstrate how you will be performing unit testing. For a research project you will review several (probably not all) the articles in your annotated bibliography and discuss how they relate to your project. This presentation should be well prepared and rehearsed. You must use slides (physical or electronic) for your presentation, preferably prepared with some presentation tool such as StarOffice Impress, Microsoft PowerPoint or HTML.

Chapter 14 of Zobel is helpful for preparing your presentation.
