Dickinson provides electronic access to a number of electronic databases that contain scientific articles. These databases may contain articles that are related to Artificial Life. Some sources will provide full text access. Others provide only citations, which you can use to request articles through interlibrary loan.
The CiteSeer database contains references and full text versions of a large amount of scientific literature. CiteSeer also generates links between related work using the references of each paper. Thus, once you find a relevant article in CiteSeer it provides a convenient way to find many related articles. However, many of the articles are pre-prints, drafts or technical reports that later became published articles. Thus, when you find something that you want to use it is a good idea to try to track down a published version of the work.
Some researchers have created bibliographies of select areas of artificial life literature. Often looking at some of these will be a quick way to find some articles related to a specific area of interest. However, some of these bibliographies have not been updated in a while.
The most recent 2 years of these journals are in the Tome Hall Library. Older print issues are bound and held in the Waidner-Spahr Library. Electronic access is available for some but not all issues.
Some other closely related journals are also available either in print or electronically:
