Assignment Icon Legend:

- Reading Assignment.

The reading assignment is relevant to what we will be talking about in class on the indicated date. Reading assignments should be done before comming to class.



- Thought Questions.

Questions about the reading asignment. You do not have to write out or hand in answers to these questions. They are designed to focus your reading of the assignment. Keep these questions in mind while you do the reading and try to understand both why the question was asked and what some possible answers might be.



- Homework Assignment.

Homework assignments will be listed on the date that they are assigned. The due date for each assignment will be given on the assignment. In general homework will be due either the next class period or 1 week after it is assigned.



- Programming Project2.

Programming projects will be listed on the date that they are assigned. The due date for each project will be given on the assignment. In general projects will be due either 1 or 2 weeks after they are assigned.



- Exam.

You know what this is! The exam will be either an in class exam that will be given on the date where the icon appears or a take-home exam that will be handed out on the date where the icon appears. Take-home exams will usually be given for 5 days (From Thurs. - Tues.).



- The Beach!

Go to some exotic island beach and get a tan!
