- Reading Assignment.
- Reading assignments will be listed on the date that we will cover them in class. The reading assignment is relevant to what we will be talking about in class on the indicated date. Reading assignments should be done before coming to class.
- Discussion List.
- Discussion list postings will be required for most days that reading assignments are made (if we are using a discussion list). These postings must be made by 8:00am on the day we will discuss the reading.
- - Review Questions.
- Review questions will be given on most days for which a reading is due (if we are not using a discussion list). Answers to these questions must be submitted via email before 8:00am on the day we will discuss the reading.
- Homework Assignment.
- Homework assignments will be listed on the date that they are assigned. The due date for each assignment will be given on the assignment. In general homework will be due either the next class period or 1 week after it is assigned.
- Web Link.
- This class contains a link to external sites on the web with content that complements what we will be doing in class.
- Lecture Notes.
- The lecture notes that I used during class on the indicated day. These will be in HTML format and can be viewed on-line. You shouldn't print these out unless you have a specific need for a hard copy.
- Sample Code.
- Code that was used for examples during class. This code can be viewed, copied, modified and compiled for practice with the concepts that it illustrates.
- Check Point.
- Check points are for semester long projects and/or papers. These will include things such as topics, outlines, reference lists and rough drafts.
- Project Assignment.
- Project/Lab Assignments will be shown on the date that they are assigned. The due date for each project/lab will be given on the assignment.
- Exam.
- You know what this is! In class exams will be given on the date where the icon appears. Take home exams will be handed out on the date where the icon appears.
- The Beach!
- Go to some exotic island beach and get a tan! It really just means we don't have class on this day.
