Professor of Political Science, the Chair of the Department of
International Studies, and a contributing member of the Russian Area
Studies program. He earned his B.A. at SUNY Buffalo and his
M.A. and Ph.D. at Indiana University. His fields are comparative
politics and international relations with research interests in issues
of
post-communist politics (especially Russia) and comparative
democratization.
